Petroleum Demulsifier
A petroleum demulsifier is a chemical agent used to break emulsions, specifically water-in-oil emulsions, that commonly occur in curde oil production and processing. These emulsions form when water mixes with curde oil, stabilized by natural surfactants such as asphaltenes, resins, and fine solids.
Oilfield Production - Used in upstream curde oil processing to remove water before refining.
Refineries - Helps in separating water from curde oil during transportation and refining.
Pipeline Transportation - Ensures smooth flow by reducing water content in oil.
The product is packaged in galvanized steel drums with a net weight of 200 kg. Upon request, it can also be supplied in IBCs, tank containers, or road tankers. It should be stored in a well-ventilated, cool, and dry environment, away from direct sunlight, rain, water, and heat sources. Prolonged storage at temperatures above 60°C may degrade the product's quality. However, short-term exposure to heating or cooling has minimal effect on its performance. The product is non-flammable and non-explosive.
